What I’m doing now
This is a now page — a snapshot of what I’m focused on right now.
Life context
Currently based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from Nepal, working in tech while building toward an eventual return home. Balancing a software engineering career with entrepreneurial ambitions and creative projects.
Work
Building healthcare software in 4D Language (yes, it’s obscure) as a software engineer at Doctorware. Currently focused on ePrescription integration and system upgrades to newer versions.
Learning
- Vibe Coding — I believe AI will be a tool to build but you should know how to debug
- Language Architecture — reading about programming language architecture and how things work under the hood
- AI Exploration — experimenting with local AI implementations, exploring how to integrate AI tools into my development workflow
- Writing — trying to document what I learn more consistently
Side projects
Mohur — an expense tracking SaaS application that gives you real insights into your finances, not just transaction lists. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Drizzle. Currently building authentication and core features with a planned April 2026 launch. Allocating about 15 hours weekly to this.
Other interests
- Coffee — specifically espresso brewing and the craft of making a good shot
- Driving — enjoying the mechanical connection between car and road
